Education technology is full of inflated AI claims. We prefer honesty: here is exactly what Aventra offers today in terms of analytics and intelligence, and here is what we're building. No more, no less.
These capabilities are live, tested, and included in every MSM Aventra deployment today. No roadmap caveats - these are real features you can use from day one.
CRM, SIS, and LMS each include purpose-built dashboards providing live data on enrolments, attendance, course completion, and recruitment pipeline health.
Configurable threshold rules trigger automated alerts - for example, when a student's attendance drops below a set percentage, or a payment becomes overdue.
Pre-built report templates for common regulatory requirements - generated automatically from live SIS data, with scheduled delivery to defined recipients.
Track assessment performance, completion rates, and engagement metrics at individual student, cohort, programme, and institutional level in the LMS analytics module.
Source attribution, stage conversion rates, and enrolment velocity tracking in the CRM - giving admissions teams visibility into what's working and where leads drop off.
Any dataset in Aventra can be exported to CSV, Excel, or PDF. Scheduled delivery of reports to internal stakeholders is available without additional BI tooling.
The following capabilities are in active development or on our product roadmap. Features in development have no confirmed release dates - we will update this page as they are completed and released.
A model-based scoring system that identifies students who are showing early signals of disengagement - based on login frequency, assignment submission patterns, and attendance trends. Surfaced as a risk dashboard for academic advisors.
In Active DevelopmentStatistical forecasting models that use historical intake data, current CRM pipeline activity, and seasonal patterns to project expected enrolment numbers for planning purposes.
In Active DevelopmentWhen the engagement scoring system identifies at-risk students, a recommendation layer will suggest appropriate intervention actions for advisors - such as scheduling a check-in, flagging for support services, or adjusting course pacing.
Planned - No ETAAn interface layer allowing authorised administrators to query institutional data using natural language - for example: "Show me attendance by faculty for the last three months" - returning structured results without writing custom reports.
Planned - No ETAAutomated scoring of inbound CRM leads based on engagement signals, application completeness, and historical enrolment patterns - to help admissions teams prioritise the most likely-to-convert prospects.

Education technology marketing is full of AI claims that don't hold up to scrutiny. We'd rather be explicit about what Aventra does not currently do than let ambiguous language mislead buyers.
The LMS does not automatically adapt course content or pacing based on student performance. Learning paths are structured by educators - not dynamically modified by an AI engine.
MSM Aventra does not currently support the IMS LTI standard for embedding third-party tools or content packages directly into the LMS environment.
The ability to query institutional data using plain-language text prompts is on the roadmap - it is not a current feature of the platform.
Earlier communications referred to "AVA AI" as an intelligent virtual assistant. This feature is not built. Any future AI assistant capability will be described honestly when it is ready for release.
Automated early warning and intervention recommendation for at-risk students is in development - it is not currently a live, deployable feature.
Institutions buying education software deserve to know exactly what they're getting. When vendors describe unbuilt AI features as if they exist today, buyers make purchasing decisions based on false information - and then face a gap between the pitch and the product.
MSM Aventra is a strong product today - with genuinely useful CRM, SIS, and LMS capabilities, real-time analytics, and automated reporting that delivers measurable value from go-live. That is worth more than an impressive AI slide deck with nothing behind it.
We are actively developing intelligence capabilities. When they are ready, we will release them and describe them accurately. Until then, this page is your honest view of where we stand.
